How many CALB 163Ah cells do I need for a 12V, 24V or 48V battery?
A typical LiFePO4 system uses 4 cells for a 12.8V 163Ah battery (about 2.09kWh), 8 cells for a 25.6V 163Ah battery (about 4.17kWh), or 16 cells for a 51.2V 163Ah battery (about 8.35kWh). Tell us your application and required runtime if you need help choosing a configuration.
Which BMS should I use with CALB 163Ah cells?
The BMS must match both the series configuration and the maximum current required by your system. For example, a 16-cell 51.2V pack requires a 16S LiFePO4 BMS. BMS current should be selected according to your inverter, charger and expected load rather than cell capacity alone. Contact AmpBird if you need help checking compatibility.
Are the cells checked and matched before shipping?
For multi-cell orders, we can check batch consistency, open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, QR code condition and physical appearance before shipment. If you require capacity testing or a specific matching tolerance, please tell us before ordering so we can confirm the testing requirements.
What exactly will I receive with my order?
For a 4-cell set, you will receive 4 CALB 163Ah LiFePO4 cells with welded threaded studs and 4 busbars for cell connections. Epoxy insulation sheets can be provided as a complimentary accessory upon request. For other quantity options, cell and busbar quantities correspond to the selected configuration.
Can I order a small quantity before placing a larger order?
Yes. Small orders are welcome for evaluation, prototype builds and initial testing. If you are sourcing cells for production, installation or resale, contact us with your expected quantity and requirements so we can discuss a suitable supply option.
Can I request cell inspection data before shipment?
Yes. Depending on your order requirements, we can confirm relevant inspection information such as open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, batch condition and physical inspection results. Capacity testing or specific matching requirements should be discussed before ordering.
Will I need to pay additional import duties when the cells arrive?
DDP door-to-door shipping is available for eligible destinations.
