Do you sell Grade A LiFePO4 cells?

Yes. We supply brand-new Grade A LiFePO4 cells from manufacturers such as CATL, EVE Energy, REPT, and CALB. Available brands and models vary by warehouse and current inventory, so please check the product page or contact us for availability.

Why are some LiFePO4 batteries much cheaper?

Price differences can come from cell grade, production date, testing and matching, warranty, documentation, order quantity, and shipping terms. A lower price alone does not prove that a battery uses Grade B or refurbished cells. When comparing offers, check the exact model, condition, specifications, available test information, and after-sales support.

How long do LiFePO4 battery cells last?

Cycle life depends on the specific cell model and on operating conditions such as depth of discharge, charge and discharge rates, and temperature. Modern LiFePO4 prismatic cells commonly reach several thousand cycles under recommended conditions. The rated cycle life for each model is listed on its product page and datasheet.

Can I mix battery cells with different brands or capacities?

For best performance, we do not recommend mixing cells with different capacities, brands, production batches, or states of health in the same battery pack. Using well-matched cells helps maintain more consistent voltage, capacity, balancing behavior, and service life.

Which inverters and applications are your batteries compatible with?

Compatibility depends on the battery voltage, inverter operating range, BMS, and whether CAN or RS485 communication is required. Many systems can operate using voltage-based settings, while closed-loop communication compatibility must be confirmed for the exact inverter and BMS models. Send us your inverter model and system requirements, and we can help you check the appropriate battery configuration.

Shipping & Delivery

4
Which countries do you ship to?

We ship lithium battery products to many destinations, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, European Union countries, and Australia. Shipping availability depends on the product type and destination because lithium batteries require specialized transportation. If your destination is not listed, send us your city or postal code and we will check the available shipping options.

What does DDP shipping mean?

For orders quoted on DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms, the arranged shipping service includes transportation, import customs clearance, and applicable import duties or taxes to the agreed destination. DDP availability depends on the product and destination, so the applicable shipping terms will be confirmed in your quotation or order.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the shipping origin, destination, product type, and carrier. Orders shipped from our EU stock are generally faster, while lithium battery shipments from China require specialized transportation and may take several weeks. We will provide an estimated processing and transit time for your specific order before shipment.

Will I receive tracking information?

Tracking or shipment status information will be provided when it is available from the carrier. For some lithium battery truck, freight, or local delivery services, tracking updates may be less detailed than standard parcel delivery, but you can contact us for the latest shipment status.

Orders & Payment

4
Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. Volume pricing is available for eligible bulk orders. Please send us the product model, quantity, destination, and any specific requirements so we can prepare an appropriate quotation.

Do you offer OEM or custom solutions?

We can evaluate selected OEM and custom battery requirements for business customers. Feasibility, minimum order quantity, lead time, specifications, and documentation requirements depend on the project. Please send us your requirements so we can confirm what can be supported before quotation.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept PayPal and bank transfer (T/T). For wholesale or higher-value orders, bank transfer is also available and payment details can be provided with the quotation or Proforma Invoice. Card payment may be available through PayPal where supported.

Can I request a quotation or Proforma Invoice?

Yes. Please send us the product model, quantity, delivery destination, and any specific shipping requirements. We can prepare a quotation and Proforma Invoice based on your order details.

Documents & Testing

4
How do you check battery cells before shipping?

Our pre-shipment quality control depends on the product and order. Battery cells may be checked for appearance, open-circuit voltage (OCV), internal resistance, and matching consistency, while capacity or batch test data may also be used where applicable. If you require a specific testing procedure or individual test data, please confirm the requirement with us before ordering.

Can you provide an individual test report for every battery cell?

Battery cells are normally tested and matched in large production or warehouse batches. For small orders, the cells are selected from a larger tested batch, so an individual factory test report for each purchased cell may not always be available. If you have specific testing requirements, please contact us before ordering.

Which documents and certifications can you provide?

Available documents vary by product. Depending on the item, we may provide UN38.3 transport documentation, SDS/MSDS, datasheets, test reports, and other applicable compliance documents. CE or RoHS documentation is not necessarily applicable to every product, so please check the specific model in our Technical Resources center or contact us if you need a particular document.

Where can I download datasheets?

Available datasheets for our battery cells, battery systems, DIY kits, and BMS products can be found in our Technical Resources center. Manufacturer datasheets typically include key information such as dimensions, capacity, operating limits, and electrical specifications, depending on the document. If you cannot find the document you need, contact us and we will check its availability.

Warranty & After-Sales

3
What warranty do you provide?

Warranty duration and coverage vary by product and are stated on the applicable product page and Warranty Policy. If you experience a suspected product defect during the warranty period, please contact us with your order details and supporting photos, videos, or test information. We will review the case under the applicable warranty terms and provide the appropriate next steps.

What should I do if I experience a problem after delivery?

Please contact us with your order number, photos or videos of the issue, and a brief description of the problem. We normally review support requests within 1–2 business days, although complex technical or logistics cases may require additional time.

Do you provide technical support?

Yes. We provide pre-sales product selection guidance and after-sales technical support for products purchased from AmpBird, including configuration questions and troubleshooting. For system-level design, inverter communication, or third-party equipment, the level of support depends on the specific products and technical information available.

DIY & Technical Support

Do you sell DIY battery kits and assembled battery packs?

Yes. We offer 48V-class LiFePO4 DIY battery kits for customers who want to assemble their own energy storage batteries, as well as selected factory-assembled battery packs. Exact configurations and warehouse availability vary by product. DIY kits require customer assembly, while assembled battery packs are completed and tested before shipment.

What is included in a DIY battery kit?

Kit contents vary by model and selected configuration. Depending on the product, a kit may include:

  • Battery enclosure
  • Compression hardware
  • BMS
  • Display
  • Breaker
  • Cables
  • PCB or connection components
  • Connectors
  • Wheels
  • Mounting hardware

Battery cells are not included unless they are specifically selected with the order, and some connection parts may be supplied with the purchased cells rather than with the enclosure kit. Please check the packing list on the individual product page before ordering.

Is assembling a battery pack beginner-friendly?

DIY battery assembly requires basic electrical knowledge and careful attention to polarity, insulation, terminal torque, BMS wiring, and safety procedures. Assembly time varies depending on the kit, tools, and the user's experience. If you are not confident working with high-current DC battery systems, we recommend seeking help from a qualified technician.

Can I expand my battery system later?

Many battery systems can be expanded by adding additional compatible battery packs in parallel. The maximum number of parallel batteries depends on the battery model, BMS, inverter, communication setup, and system design. Check the applicable product specifications or contact us before expanding an existing system.

How many cells and how much capacity do I need?

A 48V-class LiFePO4 battery commonly uses 16 cells connected in series (16S), giving a nominal pack voltage of 51.2V. Nominal battery energy can be estimated as 51.2V × cell capacity (Ah) ÷ 1000. The capacity you need depends on daily energy consumption, usable depth of discharge, solar production, peak load, and the backup time you want. If you share your inverter model and energy requirements, we can help you select an appropriate configuration.
