Are the battery cells matched before shipping?
Yes. We match the cells by voltage and internal resistance before shipment whenever possible to help achieve better pack consistency and performance.
What applications are these cells suitable for?
These CATL 314Ah LiFePO4 cells are ideal for DIY battery packs, residential energy storage systems, off-grid solar, RVs, marine applications, and backup power systems.
Can I mix these cells with different brands or capacities?
No. We strongly recommend using cells of the same brand, capacity, production batch, and state of health. Mixing different cells may reduce performance, shorten battery life, and affect overall safety.
How many cells are required to build a 48V battery?
A standard 51.2V LiFePO4 battery system requires 16 cells connected in a 16S configuration.
Do the cells include busbars and terminal bolts?
Yes. Matching busbars and terminal bolts are included unless otherwise stated on the product page.
How should these battery cells be stored?
Store the cells in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive heat. For long-term storage, keep the state of charge between 30% and 50%.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please inspect the package immediately upon delivery. If you notice any damage, take clear photos of the outer carton, shipping label, and affected cells, then contact AmpBird as soon as possible. After verification, we will provide a replacement or an appropriate solution.
