Which BMS should I use with CALB 125Ah cells?
Choose the BMS according to your series configuration and maximum system current. A 4S pack requires a 4S LiFePO4 BMS, an 8S pack requires an 8S BMS, and a 16S pack requires a 16S BMS. The BMS current rating should be based on your inverter, charger and expected load rather than simply the 125Ah cell capacity. Contact us if you want us to check BMS compatibility.
Are the cells checked and matched before shipping?
For multi-cell orders, we can check batch consistency, open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, QR code condition and physical appearance before shipment. If your project requires capacity testing or a specific matching tolerance, please tell us before ordering so we can confirm the testing requirements.
What exactly will I receive with my order?
For a 4-cell set, you will receive 4 CALB 125Ah LiFePO4 cells with welded threaded studs and 4 busbars for cell connections. Epoxy insulation sheets can be provided as a complimentary accessory upon request. For other quantity options, the supplied cell and busbar quantities will correspond to the selected configuration.
Can I order a small quantity first before placing a larger order?
Yes. Small orders are welcome for evaluation, prototype builds or initial testing before a larger purchase. If you are sourcing cells for production, installation or resale, contact us with your expected quantity and requirements so we can discuss the most suitable supply option.
Can I see test results or cell information before shipment?
Yes. Depending on your order requirements, we can provide or confirm relevant cell information before shipment, such as voltage, internal resistance, batch condition and inspection results. If you need capacity testing, detailed matching data or specific documentation, please confirm the requirements with us before ordering.
Will I need to pay additional import duties when the cells arrive?
DDP door-to-door shipping is available for eligible destinations. When DDP service is confirmed for your order, customs clearance, import duties and applicable taxes are included in the shipping arrangement, so you will not need to pay additional import charges upon delivery. Contact us with your country and postal code to confirm availability.
What should I do if a cell arrives damaged or abnormal?
Please inspect the cells and packaging before assembly. If you notice shipping damage, an abnormal terminal, unusual voltage or any other problem, take clear photos and contact AmpBird before installing or cycling the cells. We will review the issue with you and provide the appropriate support.
