Are these genuine Grade A EVE MB31 cells?
Yes. We supply brand-new EVE MB31 Grade A LiFePO4 cells. The cells are inspected before shipment, and we do not sell used, refurbished, rewrapped or reclaimed cells.
Are the cells matched before shipping?
Yes. Cells ordered as a set are checked and matched for voltage and internal resistance before shipment to help improve pack consistency. For best results, use cells of the same model, capacity and production batch in one battery pack.
What does Grade A mean?
Grade A refers to brand-new cells that meet the manufacturer's applicable production and performance standards. They are not used, refurbished, rewrapped or recovered from previously assembled battery packs.
Can I build a 51.2V home battery with these cells?
Yes. Sixteen EVE MB31 cells connected in series create a 51.2V 314Ah battery with approximately 16.1kWh of nominal energy. A compatible 16S LiFePO4 BMS, suitable enclosure, busbars, insulation and correctly rated protection components are required.
Which BMS and inverter should I use?
Use a properly rated 16S LiFePO4 BMS with cell-level monitoring, balancing and overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and temperature protection. Inverter communication depends on the selected BMS protocol rather than the cells themselves. Send us your inverter model and expected charge and discharge current, and we can help confirm a suitable configuration.
Why choose 314Ah cells instead of 280Ah cells?
A 314Ah cell provides about 12% more nominal capacity than a 280Ah cell in the same cell count. In a 16S system, EVE MB31 cells provide approximately 16.1kWh compared with about 14.3kWh from 280Ah cells. The best choice also depends on enclosure dimensions, budget, BMS rating and required storage capacity.
Can I purchase a matching DIY battery kit with these cells?
Yes. AmpBird offers compatible 51.2V DIY battery kits with enclosures, JK Smart BMS options, LCD displays, breakers, busbars, wiring and assembly hardware. Please confirm the exact enclosure dimensions and selected configuration before ordering.
What warranty is included?
AmpBird provides a 5-year limited warranty covering eligible manufacturing defects. Warranty coverage requires correct installation, an appropriately configured BMS, operation within the specified voltage and temperature limits, and compliance with the applicable warranty terms.
What should I do if the shipment arrives damaged?
Please inspect the shipment carefully upon delivery. If you notice damage to the carton, shipping label or cells, take clear photos of the package, label and damaged areas before unpacking further, then contact us immediately. After reviewing the case, we will provide a free replacement or an appropriate refund when shipping damage is confirmed.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery time depends on the shipping origin and destination. Orders shipped from our EU warehouse typically arrive within 5–7 business days in most European countries. Orders shipped from China generally take approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on the destination, shipping method and customs clearance.
